Have I Mentioned...

I am so excited for all of the babies that are coming soon. My SIL Jen is due around Halloween with her second girl. Her sister is prego with her first. And my baby sister Erin is prego with her third and fourth!!! I can't wait for these all of these babies to get here. I am so happy for Jen, it is so much fun having cousins on both sides of your family for your kids. I love, love, love that Chloe and Seth both have such good buddies on both the Thomson and Davis side of our family.
I was at girls camp and Erin was trying to get a hold of me on my cell phone. The service was bad and she kept leaving me messages that she had some exciting news and to call her back asap! After trying and being disconnected with my own phone a couple of times, I finally borrowed a cell phone and was able to reach her. I told the girls at camp, I don't know what could be so important ~ she just found out she was pregnant and just moved into her new house. They all speculated about what it could be and someone even guessed twins. I {very typically} started to tear up when she did in fact tell me that she was carrying twins. I am so excited and even a little bit jealous ~ I will always be baby hungry!!!
So I can't wait until she finds out for sure which set should be purchased:
Movie Weekend
Saturday, August 28, 2010
I got together with my pregnant sister-in-law last night to watch the Back Up Plan with Jennifer Lopez and this very fit fella. I had seen the movie when it was in theaters and laughed so hard with my girlfriends. I have to admit there was a difference watching it with my little brother. I still want to know how you decide which of your friends {that are close enough that you invited to your baby's birthing} is the designated poop scooper!!!

Day Two!
Early Birthday!
Monday, August 23, 2010
Once we had left Grandpa's cabin in Bear Lake, I realized we had left a few things. I called Aunt Kate and asked her to bring my watch and wedding ring home. Then Chloe remembered that she forgot her scooter. I had made plans with neighbors to have her scoot to school with a group of kids. I called Grandma and asked her to bring her scooter home and she could use it tomorrow. Grandma called us back and said that the scooter looked too small and was too dirty to bring home. They wanted to get her a new one for her birthday and took us all out to dinner at Chili's ~ her favorite.
For years they have taken the kids to their favorite restaurant and then to toys r us to pick out a toy. This year was much quicker because we didn't have to case out the entire store! Seth found this awesome Lego fire fighter but Chloe went strait back to the scooters and found this pretty pink daisy Razor with an annoying bell!

First Day of School
She woke me up this morning before my alarm had a chance to go off. She was dressed and ready to go! We made her favorite breakfast, cream of wheat, and packed her lunch. We missed back to school night and she was a little nervous about meeting her teacher. She got a little teary and thought she would like to stay home instead. I said that was a great idea and assigned her a bunch of chores to coax her into changing her mind. She bucked up and we did her hair and headed out to the garage. We got the car seats in and got our seat belts on and the car would not start. The thing was dead, no noise, no nothing! I called Aunt Jenn to see if she could take us, I called some neighbors but they were already on their way. I called Dan to see if there was anything I could do, quickly, and then we all started walking to school. She was whimpering a little about being late and neither of us knew exactly were to go. Our friend Amy, from last years car pool, saved the day and stopped and took Chloe to school. She had a car full or I would have gone with her. I got a hold of Uncle Tom and he let me borrow their little black car and Seth and I were able to meet her once school was over. She had gotten a little nervous but told me she was very brave! Recess was the best part of the day and she went on and on about the big kid play ground that she gets to play on now that she isn't a kindergartner!!! For lunch she sat next to a sixth grader and there was no cheese to get the cheese touch from ~ go figure! Read more...
