Green Goodness

I wish I was putting up spring decorations but I am glad to report that I finally put away all of my snowmen and snow flakes!  Ever since that groundhog poked his head out of his hole I have been itching for a little sunshine. 

I love to decorate my front room with Candy for each holiday but I found myself filling my jars and shelves with green items that I already had around the house.  I love my green apples from the kitchen and a stash of green books from the family room:

 But yes, the neighbor kids don't need to fret, there is still candy in the jars!

*no comments needed about the age of the sweets!!!

Dad's & Doughnuts

The PTA at her school is sponsoring 'Dad's & Doughnuts' this morning.  I missed Mom's and Muffins so there was little I could tell Dan, in preparation.  She was so excited for him to come, I am so glad I told him about this a month ago and then reminded him about it weekly!
