Berry Almond Chicken Salad

Today we went with some cousins to see Marmaduke:

I'm so proud of myself, last year we would have ordered the big popcorn {which is refillable}, now I get the kids their own combo and there is just not enough popcorn for them to share!!!  Do I have will power or what? plus it's cheaper ~ go figure!!!

After the movies we drove to meet Dan in centerville for lunch and Seth was so excited to see these dirtbikes, he couldn't decide which one he wanted for his very own... I don't think that every time I take my kids out to lunch, they deserve a toy.  Thanks to McDonalds, they do!!!   I talked them into trying Wendy's so they could have a frosty with their meal, lucky them.  But, Lucky Me, This is what I got:

1 Point for the Half Size Chicken Breast
2 Points for 1 Packet Roasted Almonds with Sea Salt
1 Point for 1 Packet Fat Free Raspberry Vinaigrette
1 Point for 1/8 Cup or 14 grams of Asiago Cheese
(2 Points for Lettuce, Strawberries, Blueberries and Asiago Cheese Shavings)
5 Points for Half Size Salad

I wasn't sure of the nutritional information at the time, so I ordered the half salad but next time I will have to order the full salad or just try to make it at home!

3 Points for the Full Size Chicken Breast
2 Points for 1 Packet Roasted Almonds with Sea Salt
2 Points for 2 Packets Fat Free Raspberry Vinaigrette
2 Points for 1/4 Cup or 28 grams of Asiago Cheese
(4 Points for Lettuce, Strawberries, Blueberries and Asiago Cheese Shavings)
9 Points for Full Size Salad

This salad from McDonald's used to be my favorite:

South West Grilled Chicken Salad

8 points for the salad and 3 points for the dressing.

Both salads are good but the berry salad is so fresh and delicious.  Wendy's has it as a seasonal salad and as far as I know it hasn't been added to their menu permamently, so you might want to hurry up and try it!  Yum!!!
