Our Day

Thursday, February 4, 2010

This morning Seth fell asleep shortly after Chloe went off to school.

So I made this:

I love blocking out all of the early morning bright lights but when I don't remove my makeup at night (BAD) the sleep mask I have needs to be laundered. Now I have a back up and this is what it looks like on Seth {You might be surprised how hard it is to take a self portrait, blind folded}!!!

When Chloe got home she joined the scrap booking and was determined to add some stitching to her newest page:She was halfway through her second layout when I warned her that she can't be in my office if she sucks her finger again. She is currently watching Star Wars!

Scrapbooking at Laura's

Monday, February 1, 2010

Do you remember this camp out? It rained and rained. I never added these pictures to my album in 2006. I thought they were worthy of going back and adding them to my scrapbook!

I can't believe how much they've grown!
I think we need to do this again...
Chloe was miserable the entire time but surprisingly she remembers this fondly!
This is the first page from the kit I bought from Becky Higgins. She put together a kit for school and I bought it over a year ago with the hopes my kids would make it to school!!!
Now that I have started up again, I want to put some serious time in to scrap booking. My neighbor Mindy came over to use my Cricut and it gave me a reason and deadline for cleaning up my office. I have had boxes of Christmas and Winter decorations making the room inhabitable. But it is all organized again and ready to mess up! We went through the boxes from Aunt Laura and the kids have been scrap booking and giving each other tattoos!

Only Finished FOUR Pages!

Friday, October 9, 2009

After two nights of Erin's kids not wanting to sleep without her snuggled up next to them and two nights of my kids wanting to help and join in the scrap booking, I finally finished this four page layout from our trip to Fish Lake last year. I am exactly a year behind and it is killing me!

I think I am going to ask Mr. Claus for a 12x12 printer & scanner for Christmas this year. Does anybody have any clue how or where to purchase one?
