Bowling Fat Cats

Today we went bowling and used our Trick-or-Treat Tickets, only 10¢ a game!!!

The Fat Cats in Ogden has the Pizza Factory attached to it and we enjoyed their

fabulous bread sticks and because it wasn't busy and because our food hadn't come out,

they let the kids bowl 2 games!  I love affordable outings with friends!!!

Seth's Birthday

This is what He wanted to do for his birthday!

Afterwards we went to his favorite restaurant.  Now if you ask him what his favorite meal is, he would say ribs.  Go figure that Dan suggests McDonald's and I can't talk him out of going there even though we had to drive to three McDonald's to find an indoor play land!

Bowling Kindergarteners

Chloe was able to participate in a special treat for those students who finished and passed off all 50 of the skill sets.  There were six kids from Mrs. Lawrence's class that participated!!!

I can't believe how slow these kids bowled!  I was able to leave and run a quick errand but had to wait and wait and wait for Chloe and her lane to finish all 10 frames!  She did pretty good but doesn't understand why she can't roll strike after strike, like she does when she plays on the wii...

CHLOE!

She woke up this morning and came running in to my room,

shouting, "I'm Six, I'm Six, I'm Six!!!"

She came home from school and was so happy to be the Birthday Girl!

Her dad got off work early so we could

put on some Funky Shoes:

And play with these colorful balls: She was so nervous and scared to go bowling, the wii hasn't

prepared her for how much fun she would have!

She might have been nervous but I was terrified, because

I haven't been bowling for almost eight years...

Seth wants to go bowling for his birthday too!

But that might be just because he beat us all!!!

After bowling we tried miniature golf with black lights:

We enjoyed dining on some fabulous cheese pizza

compliments of the Little Cesar and then

Chloe finally got to open her presents.

She was so excited and a little nervous once we opened the box, finding it full of pieces and not the charming mansion pictured. Dan laughed at me and wished me luck in putting it all together. He has vowed to never put furniture together in this lifetime. I guess a doll house counts as furniture. It is fine by me. He never follows the instructions when he puts things together and I wanted this structure to be sound! And it only took me an hour and fifteen minutes to finish ~ even with Chloe and Seth's help!

And then finally it was time for The Cake:
