Chloe's Day
Friday, September 23, 2011
I let her sleep in a bit in the morning, she went to school with her lunch packed with a special birthday note and a Hershey bar (her favorite). As soon as I got Seth on the bus, I rushed to the grocery store to pick up a few more laffy taffys for her classroom treat for her to share. I made the cutest note on them. It said:
I went into her classroom with a balloon for a surprise and to scrapbook with the class. She rode her bike to school so Seth and I drove home at the end of the school day. She was so excited when she saw the 8 balloons with her presents. We watched her open them up and started to play the wii Glee Karaoke game that was her favorite.

+ 1 more year
= 8 is great

We took her out to dinner, her choice.
Can you imagine going to Subway for a sandwich of turkey on a bun?
Maybe this cookie helped her make her decision...
Seth loves 'See Food'
We went to Boondocks for a game of miniature golf:
and a ride on the Bumper Boats:
Chloe and Seth were so excited that they could drive their own boat. Seth was so excited that it came with a shooter that could squirt every one! Including Me!!!
Dan kept squirting me and made it look like I had wet my pants!
When we got home we served up brownies and ice cream:
We planned to watch Rio in 3D but had to wait while the electrician in our family hooked everything up... While we waited we put together this puzzle of Chloe:This is a puzzle called Ji Ga Zo. You upload your own picture and it gives you the puzzle map to make any picture, I can't wait to make the next one! She had a great day and is so excited to get baptized!

Grandpa
Friday, August 19, 2011
Oh, how I love Dan's dad. He is the most generous man. He is a dedicated father and grandfather; a hard worker who is the ultimate outdoorsman, scout and example. He is the busiest person I know who stretches his time and skills to the maximum on a regular basis. He loves to water ski on his birthday and we love to witness his agility and youth. He is definitely a cool grandpa! Happy 59th Birthday Bry!!!

Afterwards we went to his favorite restaurant. Now if you ask him what his favorite meal is, he would say ribs. Go figure that Dan suggests McDonald's and I can't talk him out of going there even though we had to drive to three McDonald's to find an indoor play land!

Early Birthday!
Monday, August 23, 2010
Once we had left Grandpa's cabin in Bear Lake, I realized we had left a few things. I called Aunt Kate and asked her to bring my watch and wedding ring home. Then Chloe remembered that she forgot her scooter. I had made plans with neighbors to have her scoot to school with a group of kids. I called Grandma and asked her to bring her scooter home and she could use it tomorrow. Grandma called us back and said that the scooter looked too small and was too dirty to bring home. They wanted to get her a new one for her birthday and took us all out to dinner at Chili's ~ her favorite.
For years they have taken the kids to their favorite restaurant and then to toys r us to pick out a toy. This year was much quicker because we didn't have to case out the entire store! Seth found this awesome Lego fire fighter but Chloe went strait back to the scooters and found this pretty pink daisy Razor with an annoying bell!

Bear Lake: Day 3
Saturday, August 21, 2010
While we were having the Thomson camp out, the Davis side of our family was celebrating the birthdays we have in August. Today is Bry's birthday and Grandpa wanted to spend it defying his age by skiing and wake boarding. {i think he is secretly batman!} It got really windy later in the day and riding along on the hot dog was all anyone was up for!
Dan and Drake:
Dan, Chloe and Seth:
The wind was perfect for flying kites:
After we had the best BBQ, the kids played some more on the new airplane teeter-totter and climbing dome, then Grandpa made us some cinnamon and sugar donut balls with home made ice cream. The kids needed to go to bed ~ tomorrow will be the first day of school... Chloe was reading stories to Gwen:
And Seth was taking care of himself:
While the kids were away the dads will really play!
It took both Dad and Ben to take on Dan and his cat like reflexes!!!
