Date with Mom

Chloe's March envelope was to go to the bookstore for a book & treat!

She found a new boyfriend...  but decided that Skippy Jon Jones was more her style. 

We read for about an hour before she finally decided on a water color book!

The treats at Barnes & Noble didn't really look like what she wanted

so we headed over to The Sweet Tooth Fairy and she picked... a chocolate chip cookie! 

I resisted but had a bite of her treat, then we burned off the calories and more!  Thanks to Uncle Tom for getting my bike down from the ceiling of the garage, filling the tires with air and tightening the handle bars; we went for a bike ride to the school play ground.  We packed a picnic lunch and even though it almost killed me, she kept telling me how proud she was of me!  I love her support!!!

Date with Dad

 Seth's Christmas coupon for March was for a wood working project with Daddy.

I had even planned this activity for when The Home Depot was having their kids project

and making the #20 Nascar...  But I came home to all of these plastic parts:

 Someone was getting frustrated, so many instructions!

 He's so proud of their accomplishment and I love the time they spent together!

It's March and we just started and finished February's Date.

Just a zig zag on top of the embroidery thread to gather 3x the width of her shirt and after only unravelling the ruffles twice, we finished with this St. Patrick's Day rainbow t-shit

We loved the longer length of this $3 medium child's shirt from Walmart but it turned out even better than expected when I finished the side seams and slimmed it up a bit!

This months Christmas date for Seth was 'out to breakfast with Dad'.  He and Dan headed out for these huge scones.  Seth was in heaven.  Notice his lost tooth!!!  He swallowed it!
