Today would have been my grandmothers birthday. She died 16 years ago. I love this picture of Alene & Cecil McDermaid. They are so beautiful and vibrant.

What a great night. I just got back from scrapbooking at my mom's house in South Jordan and have completed 40 pages (with some very simple pages) and have finished scrapping 2006!!! YEAH! I now have all of 2007 to print and work on... I love pulling an all-nighter and giggling with my sisters until my side hurts. I hate laughing so hard that I snort! Thanks so much to Aunt Krystal who stayed over with my kids. They had so much fun. Dan and the boys went riding at the dunes early today so it will be a very long afternoon for this sleep deprived mom.

Seth is a climbing fool (Just like his DAD)!
Gwen is so sweet, she has such a soft and tender voice.
I love when she says, "Aunt Liz"!

Do you think there might be some gymnastics in his future?

I don't know if my heart can take it. ***** After feeding the ducks Krystal & I headed for the playground and Seth ran strait for the sand. I stopped to take the blanket out of my stroller and Chloe called for me to push her on the swings. I looked for Seth and couldn't find him. I walked around the playground trying to pick my child out of the crowd and could not find my boy... I searched the fence line around the river where the ducks are and started to panick! Krystal headed to the north side of the park and I went in the opposite direction towards our cars. I was nearing the bathrooms, calling out his name in hope that he was just playing when a women was walking towards the playground carrying a kicking and screaming Seth!!! He had walked back towards the ducks we had fed at the park opening. I was so happy to see him - Both Seth and I were crying!
Chloe swears that a duck bit her last year but I don't remember that happening...

Harlie and Chloe are such good egg hunters!
Chloe had quite the Haul
Afterwards we all went to KFC to enjoy a meal with our
Seth loved the Dye!!!
Chloe got new rollerblades but hurt her eye climbing and reaching the high shelves in her closet. A hanger came down and smacked her right under her eye!
Dr. Daddy bandaged her up so that it wouldn't hurt anymore.
When the surgical tape was itching more than she could handle, Dan slowly took of the gause and tape to reveal her poor mangled eye!
What a relief and blessing that she still has two eyes!

I love how affectionate my kids are. Chloe always wants to give her kisses away and Seth is just learning to be a really good kisser (a valuable trait)! I love how stingy he is with his smooches - he always has plenty for ME!
I can't believe that I made this Dirt Bike Cake for Seth!
Dirt Bike from Mommy!
Dirt Bike from Daddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He actually fell asleep sitting at the counter. Sometimes I think that little boys work and play so, so hard that they need naps more than girls do!
Chloe and I had so much fun going to the Bountiful Library to celebrate Dr. Suess' 50th Birthday. I forgot how much fun it can be, one on one, with her.
There were so many people there! With all of the fun activities and characters, Chloe was in heaven. Yes Thing 2 is actually Leslie McEwan! But, the Grinch is her favorite. Chloe and Dan would watch 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' over and over - the entire
Christmas season. Although he was her favorite - She was terrified of him. The library had autograph books and she had each character sign hers. Yes, even the Grinch. It was such a great night - we didn't want it to end so we stopped at Baskin Robins and got some ice cream. We definitely need to have more mommy/daughter dates!
