Raising Butterflies

Some how I forgot to pay the kids their allowances in June and July. It seemed that every time I had cash in my possession, I would spend it... So when August began, I gave them three months worth of allowance.  After hours of choosing and debating and from the clearance section, Chloe chose this butterfly cage.  It came with a coupon that you could order some caterpillars through the mail.  I wish we had taken more pictures of the six tiny caterpillars growing bigger, then growing a cocoon, forming a chrysalis, and finally breaking loose as a beautiful butterfly!
