Today was the 4th grade Rendezvous

Friday, June 20, 2014

Even though we waited until this morning to make even a semblance of a costume,
I thought she made a pretty cute little hi-ya-ya-ya Indian brave:

Mountain Man shooting off is gun (it was loud)!
They felt all of the pelts and were able to answer questions about Rendezvous of the past
They handled many different types of wool including sheep, alpaca bunny, yak.
There was a frying pan toss:
It's just what it sounds like!
 Chloe's Tomahawk Throw:

 They learned to play Gracie:

and even roasted Ash Cakes:
a marshmallow wrapped in biscuit dough then roasted and yummy
A Pin Drop to improve their archery skills:
They had a Pow Wow in the Tee Pee:
Hoop Rolling was tried:
They all had so much fun!
After learning about Utah State Capitals and their rich history this year Chloe could tell you a little bit about Beaver County.  I think all of the kids had a great day.  After rotating through nine stations the classes gathered together and had a trading post.  Then after lunch they enjoyed square dancing.
